Director, Business Development

Job Description

Glympse® is the pioneer in real-time temporary location sharing technology. We incorporate location sharing into a wide variety of consumer and business scenarios, providing better customer experiences and a robust platform.  We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Business Developer to join our world-class business team. To be successful, this person will possess outstanding B2B software sales experience, proven strategic analysis and a passion for technology, new systems, and innovative business solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new relationships with our clients, negotiating contracts and closing deals. Domestic and some international travel is required for this position.


  • Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business opportunities and needs
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
  • Create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to Glympse stakeholders
  • Collaborate with our Customer Success team to ensure contracted product requirements and specifications are defined and documented correctly
  • Become a subject matter expert on our product solutions, the needs of our customers and remain up-to-date on industry news

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
  • 3+ years demonstrated achievement in B2B sales or experience in a sales roles and appointment setting role
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding objectives, revenue targets and product sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, persuasion and negotiating skills
  • Ability to communicate and influence others over the phone and in person
  • Demonstrated success in a changing and high paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
  • Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
  • Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose equipment-based solutions for clients
