Glympse Pro is a tracking platform built specifically for small-to-medium-sized businesses to provide updates of a technician or driver’s location and ETA in real-time. By sharing a technician’s location with customers, referred to as “sending a Glympse,” customers will never be left wondering when they will arrive – cutting down on customer support calls.

How can I use Glympse Pro for technician location tracking?
Glympse Pro works similarly to our Glympse En Route and Glympse consumer app. We kept the same easy-to-use interface and functionality, and Glympse Pro follows a similar process for tracking technicians:
- A Glympse is sent as a link via text message, email, or a series of other third-party apps such as Facebook, Twitter, or Whatsapp.
- Customers click on the Glympse link and can view their technician’s location on a map in real-time using any web-enabled device.
- Glympse uses the GPS capability of their mobile phone to let you share a technician’s location via a web-based map for a predetermined period of time.
- Customers don’t need to have the app installed in order to view a Glympse, and they don’t need to create an account or log in.
- A Glympse automatically expires when its timer runs out, so you don’t have to worry about sharing your tech’s location when you don’t want to.

Glympse En Route vs. Glympse Consumer vs. Glympse Pro
It’s important to understand which Glympse app is for which purpose to avoid confusion and ensure you’re downloading the correct one.
Glympse En Route is built for enterprise businesses to provide real-time geolocation solutions to capture and process location data on a larger scale to better visualize where their people, products, and assets are.
Our Glympse consumer app is our fast and free app available to everyone to track and send locations to their family, friends, or co-workers. The Glympse consumer app is also used for community and charity events, such as tracking Santa!
Glympse Pro is our newest app, and we’ve designed it specifically for small businesses to track their technicians, electricians, plumbers, fleet, and more. With Glympse Pro, business owners can have better insight into where their staff is, get better data around time on-site, and increase productivity.
Getting Started with Glympse Pro
Glympse Pro for technician location tracking is currently in beta; however, we are extending invitations to small businesses to join our Glympse Pro beta program to use the app for free and help us make it better.

- Owners get registered with Glympse Pro.

- Add technicians to your account.
Your technicians are immediately sent a text message to set up an account. Our easy-to-use interface makes it simple for anyone to use.
- Add jobs and assign them to your technicians.
Adding jobs is straightforward and, as soon as your technicians create an account, can quickly be assigned and added to their daily schedule.
